This firepit is made from one quarter inch (6.35 mm) thick steel. The sturdy construction assures you of having this functional art for many years to come. It has an iron oxide patina finish on the outside that will darken a little with time, then become permanent. The inside is coated with a high temperature resistant paint and has a rain drain in the bottom. And on top of all this, it is Made in the USA. Each piece has a brass plate with its unique number. No two pieces carry the same number. This assures your fire pit's individuality.
Each firepit is handmade by a skilled metal working artist. He grew up in a Mennonite farming village nestled in the Illinois prairie. The Mennonites taught him the value of hard work in their farms and their machinists showed him the art of joining together of metals. Using brazing rods and arc welders they repaired and built their farm equipment. Now dozens of years later, he lives and works with his family on the banks of Barton Creek in the rolling hills of Tennessee. Although the tools he uses in metal sculpture have improved over the years the core skills learned long ago remain the same.

Returns:
Please inspect your items immediately upon receipt for shipping damages and notify us immediately if there is damage. Return/refund will not be accepted for damage claims received past 14 days after delivery.
Return Authorizations must be requested within 14 days of delivery.
Little Fireplace Shop will not issue a Return Authorization if the request is received more than 14 days after delivery.
You must contact us for a Return Authorization number (RA#) by emailing our Customer Service at sales@littlefireplaceshop.com.
Please make sure the Return Authorization number is written on the outside of the box you send back to the manufacturer. Returns without an RA# will be refused.
There is a 20% restocking fee on merchandise returned/exchanged for any reason other than a product defect or shipping damage. Any items that are returned without a return authorization will be refused and refund will not be issued.
While LittleFireplaceShop.com includes Free Ground Shipping on all fireplace units at no extra charge, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs tied to the return of the fireplace back to the manufacturer, as well as the original shipping costs from LittleFireplaceShop.com to the customer.
The item must be returned in its original packaging. Returns of items without the original box and foams will be denied. Returns/Exchanges received more than 30 days after we have issued you a return authorization will be denied and not refunded.
ITEMS MUST BE RETURNED IN THEIR ORIGINAL PACKAGING AS SHIPPED BY THE MANUFACTURER. ANY ITEMS RETURNED IN PACKAGING OTHER THAN THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING WILL BE REFUSED.
